My Possession: New Lyric Video From the Green Children

I’m typically not the biggest fan when it comes to lyric music videos. But when it comes to LA-by-way-of-Europe electronic duo The Green Children, everything they touch is magic, including their enchanting new lyric video for the haunting, sweeping electro-pop ballad “Possessed.”

The stunning animated lyric video features mostly black and white visuals and animated puppetry that hearken back to the whimsical artistry of early 1900′s films like “Le Voyage dans la Lune,” pre art-deco cinema, or even some of Tim Burton’s more nostalgic stop-motion animation. It’s mesmerizing, romantic, and a little spooky, much like the song itself. Take a look:
