Technorazzi Magazine started as a little blog about my friends, coworkers and favorite geeks in Geeksville. The response from the nerd-loving public was more positive than I expected. Write more, they said. It’s time the tech industry got it’s own “paparazzi.” I agreed. After all, why not develop a celebrity culture around software engineers and digital creators and hackers and geeks? They’re stars but for different reasons. Amazingly, they often care more about having a breakthrough or finishing a production or improving quality than they care about fighting to get paid. There’s something pure about that.
So I did, and “I” soon turned into “We.” So here we are, growing and evolving and building something special.
For the geeks we love.
At Technorazzi, we find the passion, determination and eccentricity of software developers, out-of-the-box thinkers and creative geniuses to be both fascinating and inspiring, and we celebrate that. We focus on their uniqueness, not their beauty. A myriad of blogs and publications talk about technology and gadgets. Not us. We write about the colorful, complicated and human side of people who create this stuff.
After seeing the discipline and sacrifices that software developers/innovators/producers/creatives/engineers/eccentrics/savants go through to solve problems, achieve breakthroughs or complete complex multi-year projects, I have gained a profound respect for these people. I’m fascinated, amazed and amused by their eccentric ways. How can people be so smart? And so lovable.
Hoards of digital innovators are under-credited, under-compensated superstars.
They are like da Vinci’s in a digital world.
Rock stars. Super humans with alien brains.
Technorazzi is a blogazine about the human side of geeks and creative genuises – peppered with bits of fun and actual news. Welcome to Technorazzi. Please subscribe, share the news, and help us grow!
