Screenwriter, Screenwriting Instructor Launches Web Site and Services
Screenwriter and Screenwriting Instructor Tawnya Bhattacharya announces the launch of ScriptAnatomy.com to cater to the needs of screenwriters. Bhattacharya has a successful track record of helping hundreds of writers develop, polish, produce or sell their scripts and win awards. ScriptAnatomy.com is full of how-to information, links, upcoming festivals, video clips, recommended web sites, a writers store, and a blog with tips to help screenwriters complete and perfect their screenplays.
Screenwriter and Screenwriting Instructor Tawnya Bhattacharya announces the launch of her latest venture, www.ScriptAnatomy.com, a web site built around her new story consulting agency and instructional academy that caters to the needs of screenwriters. Throughout the years, Bhattacharya has helped hundreds of writers at various levels create and develop their screenplay projects through courses and script consultations, several of whom went on to win contests, festivals and fellowships, produce TV, Features and Webisodes, secure representation, sign option agreements, receive writing assignments and sell their scripts.
Whether it’s through one of her classes or private consultations, Tawnya will read and analyze the structure, theme and the transformational arc in the scripts of her clients while delving into character development, motivation, conflict, scene work and more.
One of Tawnya’s alumni, Tim Grant, states, “Everyone has an idea. But to turn that idea into a 100-page screenplay takes dedication, discipline and hours of work. Tawnya Bhattacharya is like a screenwriting personal trainer. She’ll help you to whip that underdeveloped 98-pound weakling of an idea into a full-blown feature-length commercial screenplay.”
Tawnya says, “I love what I do. I enjoy working with writers and seeing them grow and succeed. In an industry that is generally too busy to give anyone personal attention, I will give it to you! My goal is to help you realize your writing dreams!”
She helps strengthen the concept and commercial viability of screenplays by helping the writer –
- Dig deep into his or her story core to find theme that will give it meaning
- Develop compelling, dynamic, layered and characters
- Cultivate character flaw and evolve transformational arc throughout the journey
- Craft strong story structure and clear beats
- Brainstorm set piece moments
- Identify and amplify core conflict for characters
- Build & progress complex relationships
- Raise the dilemma and escalate the stakes
- Establish genre, tone and pacing
- Shape scenes and polish dialogue
The web site www.scriptanatomy.com is full of how-to information, links, upcoming contests and festivals, video clips, recommended web sites, a writers store, and of course, her own blog which is full of tips designed to help screenwriters complete and perfect their scripts.
